Ravello Osteria it has probably some of the best pizza around. Some would argue that you could tell the best pizza by its crust, and if that is the case, then Ravello Osteria is certainly a contender. Their crust is soft yet appropriately, crispy to hold its own against the wise variety toppings available for adornment. The food was so good. I forgot to take a picture, but there was nothing left to show, after everybody of our group ate, which says a lot. A bit of a shocker was the obvious CASH ONLY signs when you first enter. I didn't think there was such a thing anymore, which was sort of a turn-off, considering we would have ordered more if I had more cash -- and no one wanted to use the ATM machine on-site that charges for non-bank transactions. The beer variety was somewhat limited as well, with only 3 drafts on tap; the rest were bottles.

I haven't been here in a long time. It's a Wednesday at 5:30 pm. It was busy, but we were seated quickly. Friendly staff brought us complimentary pizza crust pieces with pesto. Delicious. Oooh, and the house sits was the best. We ordered a salad with a hunk of blue cheese. Veggies were fresh, and the dressing was perfect. As an appetizer, we ordered the mushroom ravioli. The mushroom sauce was so tasty. The ravioli itself was cooked perfectly. We all decided on the same oder of spaghetti carbonara. It was huge and could have shared, but I'm glad I had leftovers to bring home. The egg yolk on top of the pasta was perfect. Breaking it and stirring into my hot pasta to give it a richer in-depth flavor was my favorite. I won't stay away until my next visit.

We stopped at this restaurant on a whim. The pizza was great. We had a margarita and the arugula salad which was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively. This is a cash only restaurant but there is a liquor store in the complex where you can grab cash at their ATM.

I've been going to steakhouses, and I'm disappointed most of the time. I hadn't been to Ravello in a few years. I'm glad I came back. Arugula salad, penne pasta, and pizza were great, but then to top it off with a 20-ounce ribeye steak to share, of course. It was cooked as every other time I've been there. I'm coming back again!

We came here on a friend's recommendation, and they did not disappoint. There were people waiting outside for a table or for to-go orders, we could smell the great aromas emanating through the open doors, this was going to be good. Once seated, we were greeted by the outgoing and friendly staff, they were enthusiastic about their food, rightly so. We started off with a pizza, the crust was delicious, this is what sets many pizzas apart. The meals were loved by all, as we shared family style. The pasta bowls are quite large, I recommend sharing your meal. A few bowls for a group allows you to try more than one item. The atmosphere was casual, you come for the great food, not to fine dine. It was a fun place to eat, lots of people, a few birthday gatherings, and the friendly service. One server asked if it was our first time.... yes. Then he said, "it won't be your last." He was absolutely correct, we were already planning our next meal there.

The food is good but this place is missing something. I don't know what it is, but something is off. Update: Came back and got some to go bowls. Each plate was packed with flavor. Gotta say its the best pasta in Monterey Park.

If you're looking for an authentic Italian meal, this is the place to go. Hospitality was wonderful. The service was great, the staff was friendly, and the food was Absolutely Amazing. I'm definitely going back, and I'm definitely going to bring someone with me, and I suggest that everyone who appreciates Italian food > must try this spot out. If you want to Elevate your experience, try a glass of wine or an Italian beer. You won't be disappointed !
